handle third row seat in SUVs

Specialized solution to handle third row seat in SUVs

Fine Handling's innovative approach to handling third-row seats in SUVs involved the development of a specialized articulated arm with an odd-shaped design. This arm ensures that neither the seat nor the manipulator comes into contact with any part of the tailgate, thereby preventing potential damage. Additionally, the gripper was equipped with a tilt mechanism, allowing operators to tilt the seat by one side for smooth insertion into the vehicle. The use of a stainless steel jaw-type gripper ensures secure clamping of the seat during handling, further enhancing safety and stability.

Solution and Benefits

Fine Handling's team developed a specialized odd-shaped articulated arm to ensure that neither the seat nor the manipulator touches any part of the tailgate during handling.

The gripper provided with a tilt mechanism allows the operator to tilt the seat by one side, facilitating smooth insertion into the vehicle.

We employs a stainless steel jaw-type gripper to securely clamp the third-row seat during handling. This clamping mechanism ensures stability and prevents the seat from slipping or shifting during insertion.

The tilting mechanism allows for smooth insertion of the seat into the vehicle without causing any damage.

The gripper is equipped with up-down orientation change functionality, allowing the operator to properly align the seat with its bolting holes during mounting.
