Fuel tank handling is a critical operation in 4-wheeler assembly. The fuel tank is not always heavy like a chassis, but it is bulky, shape-sensitive and difficult to position manually. The operator has to guide it into a limited underbody space and align it correctly with mounting points.
The challenge is higher because the fitment area is usually crowded. There may be brackets, pipes, wiring, body structures and limited access. Even a small positioning error can slow down the line or create rework.
