Two-wheeler transfer from conveyor to the floor
Handling a completely assembled two-wheeler came with a different set of challenges. First, handling the weight of over 150 kg. Second, scratch-free handling. Third, there was limited headroom. Fine Handling used its proven Elbowlift with a special gripper to solve this handling challenge.
Challenges
- Handling load of over 150 kg on moving conveyor, proper sync between the conveyor and Elbowlift
- Ensure that the gripper or any other part of the system will not touch the outer body of the vehicle
- Achieving desired cycle time of 60 seconds
- Solution for less headroom and required vertical lift and horizontal travel of the two-wheeler
